Our Story
Ales R Russ started with a redundancy and a good idea.
Steve spent years heading up sales for some of the biggest names in British brewing. Stuart had been in construction. In the same week, they both lost their jobs. So they did what any self-respecting pair of West Midlanders would do. Popped down to their local, had a few pints, and Ales R Russ was born.
That was 2010. Since then, Ales R Russ has grown into one of the most trusted independent beer wholesalers in the West Midlands. 100+ pubs, bars and micropubs ordering every week, a roster of breweries you won't find on a national price list, and a reputation built not on marketing, but on turning up on time and knowing their stuff.
